Natasha – Her great eye for numbers has made Natasha a valuable member of the Steinbach Credit Union team. She works as a file clerk and has many duties. She is very proud to work at SCU.

Denis – During his last year at the SRSS, Denis was involved in work experience through Earl’s Meat Market and Nature’s Pasta. After he has graduated, Denis decided to continue to gain work experience at Nature’s Pasta, and was hired as a part-time employee at Earl’s Meat Market. He learned valuable skills during his work experience that make him a valuable employee.

Thomas – Thomas works at Loewen with the support of a job coach. Loewen has been creative to accommodate Thomas and his job coach working together on the job. They do good work and Thomas is a productive member of his work team.

Chris – Chris was employed at Extra Foods for several years, working alongside a job coach. When Extra Foods closed the store manager ensured the transfer of many of her employees to Super Store. He continues to work there part-time in the produce department. During the summer months he works part-time with the City of Steinbach doing garden maintenance and in the fall he works at Hull’s Bookstore.

Justine – Justine has more jobs than anyone we know! After several years of volunteer work experience through the SRSS, Hanover School Division Student Services was pleased to hire Justine as a part-time employee. She also is employed part-time at Smith Neufeld Jodoin LLP and continues to be a valued member at each of her other workplaces. As if she is not busy enough with work, Justine also volunteers at Golden West Radio Station, Sandals Day Spa & Hair Salon, Soup's On Soup Kitchen, and Woodlawn School.

Joel – After volunteering at the sports complex through high school, Joel gained valuable skills. He pitched them to Russ Dyck at the City of Steinbach in an interview and landed a part time job. Joel also does a lot of volunteering with the Steinbach Pistons. He loves that his job is at the arena where they play.
